Here you could find some ok entertainment especially if one is into surfing or just aussie surfers! actually according to the latests stat. the japanese are arriving in the highest numbers! overall things are still pretty good value around here if one avoid the most obvious ripoff joints... Nightlife facts Well Bali is a rather large island, but virtually all happening bars are found in the Kuta/legian/seminyak area. The nightlife is dominated by young turists/backpackers with the sexpat & other elderly people as well as the local crowd thrown in! available venues includes bars, cafe's, pubs, disco's, KTV/strip & massage! Bars/pubs/cafe's are prime meeting spots for travellers & locals alike as well as acceptable pick-up joints! *spy / q / etc, jalan Dhyana Pura, seminiyak - new trendy techno style bars lining the street probably a few gay oriented among them... *hard rock cafe , kuta beach rd - yes it's also here as well! *euro club, on the beach in Seminyak - large multi place live music disco etc. Disco's are normally a step up in prices as well as 'fun' level! *the new bounty ship jl. legian - gets popular late at night as well as sports 2 4 1 happy hour untill 2am... anker bier 15k *peanuts discoteque jl. legian - apparently the only obvious pickup disco with indo girls lined up! small bintang beers only 10,000rp *mama's, nearby bounty - german restaurent after hour last chance kind of place? *double six, on the beach in Seminyak. entry 30-50,000rp incl 1 drink - huge openair afterhour disco(2am++) includes saturday bungy jump action! KTV are very
popular with the east asian visitors & they feature girls that
will entertain customers e.g. singing & doing strip at a cost.

are located in the back alleys around here, but not really
recommended. If one insist on using them just ask any taxi
