thep whatever! The Capital & largest city is where most action can be found as usual. It's also the cheapest place in the region to fly into from abroad... City facts Bangkok today is a bit of a chaotic place, but it's known for great food, nightlife & friendly people. Even truckloads of foreigners visit or live here, it's still quiete easy to get off the beaten track in this huge metropolis of east meets west contrasts! Don

some 13km north. Intl. Dep. Tax:

taxi to downtown ~ 250B incl. optional express way Tolls(30+40bt), but
add 50B surcharge if
using arrival hall city taxi booth outside the terminal! Thai limo
650/800bt. Airport bus 100bt. train 20bt/bus 5bt! Taxies can be
negotiated to take you to pattaya from B800 :-)
